Dianne Burchfield

Fairview - Dianne Alyse Rathburn Burchfield, 63, of 69 Whitaker Lane, died Thursday, May 5, 2011 at The Elizabeth House. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County she was the daughter of the late David A. Rathburn, Sr. and Ruby Lackey Rathburn. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, David Rathburn, Jr. and Dana Rathburn. Surviving are her husband, Douglas Burchfield of the home; daughters, Cindy Stepniak and husband Larry of Weaverville and Crystal Hoots and husband Gary of Hendersonville; grandchildren, Tiffany, Gregory, Zachary, Deavon, Courtney and Kasey; great grandson, Tanner; 3 step grandchildren, Ariel, Anton and Christian; brother, Darrell Rathburn of Hot Springs and special family members, Bill Presley and Ronnie Presley. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael Woodby officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
