Dennis Reed Bolton

Asheville - Dennis Reed Bolton, 47, of 36 Blalock Street died unexpectantly Monday, August 19, 2002 at Memorial Mission Hospital. A native of Atlanta, Georgia. He had resided in Asheville since 1961 and was a 1975 graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School. He was employed with the Asheville Housing Authority for 11 years in the Modernazation Division and formerly attended Biltmore Holiness Temple. Surviving are his parents, Paul E. Bolton and Viola Margaret Harper Bolton of the home; sister, Patti Deyton and husband, Chuck of Asheville; brother, Paul E. Bolton, II and wife, Jane of Huntersville; nephews, Ryan Deyton and Nicholas Deyton and wife, Christy all of Asheville; several uncles and aunts including Ernest and Cleta Lowe of Asheville and several cousins. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Skyview Memorial Park with the Rev. Daniel Allen officiating. Active Pallbearers will be B.W. Worley, Eric Proctor, Don Penland, James Ward, Stan Banks and Dean Elkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be all the staff of the Asheville Housing Authority The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. Dennis was dearly loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
