Dennis Dan Crawford

Asheville - Dennis Dan Crawford, 55, of 109 Dix Creek Chapel Rd. died Saturday, June 5, 2003 at his residence. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during Vietnam. Mr. Crawford was the son of the late George Wesley and Geneva Johnson Crawford. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry and Eugene Crawford. Surviving are his wife, Linda Ward Crawford of the home; daughter, Monacia and fianc David; grandchildren, Randy and Mystie Hancock, and Felicia Johnson; brothers, Bobby Crawford of Tenn. and Carroll Crawford of Salisbury; father and mother-in-law, Lyle and Dorothy Ward. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
