Delbert Lamar Tochterman

Murfreesboro, TN - Delbert Lamar Tochterman, 59, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro. A native of Buncombe County, he was a graduate of Lee Edwards High School and a US Army veteran. He was the son of the late John and Jessie Mae Tinsley Tochterman. Surviving are a niece, Candy Thomas of Murfreesboro; sisters: Brenda Thomas and husband Billy of Arkansas, and Martha Tochterman of Asheville; three nieces, four nephews, eight great-nephews, and one great-niece. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Friday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team. The family will receive friends from 9-11 AM Friday at the funeral home.
