Asheville – Debra Lynn “Debbie” Stone, 65, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022 at her residence. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired in 2019 following 45 years of service from Mission Hospitals where at the time of her retirement, served in Revenue Management and was a member of Sand Hill Baptist Church where she served as a clerk. Mrs. Stone was a daughter of the late Paul Lynn Masters and Ruth Cochran Masters. Surviving are her husband, David Stone whom she married June 16, 1987, of the home; step daughter, Tenna Clontz of Radcliff, KY and step son, Jeromie Stone of Edgefield, SC; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Betty Sexton of Asheville; brother, Ralph Wiggins (Cathey) of Gate City, VA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Sand Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Ricky McCarson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
