Deborah Davidson

On a Friday, October, 14, 1955, in Haywood County, North Carolina, Deborah Davidson was born to Weaver Harrison and Thelma Kaylor Harrison, she was born fifteen minutes after her twin brother Don, but she made up for being late during her 66 years. She always laughed about taking Don’s baby bottle away from him and loved the fact they were twins. Debbie entered the Gates of Heaven on November 23, 2021, surrounded by her family at the end of a prayer. Debbie was full of life and loved everyone, always had an open door and a helping hand for anyone who needed it. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and loved the elderly, she worked at Asheville Health Care Center, Mountain Ridge Wellness Center and Maggie Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Debbie was of the Baptist faith and had the voice of an angel. The pride and joy of her life was her family, her son Michael Davidson, and her daughter Amanda Davidson Redmon. She was most proud of her Grandchildren, Tyson Redmon, Emily Redmon, Maya Davidson Harrison, Kyren Owenby and Cainen Owenby and her two Great Grandchildren Ryder Gomez and Axel Redmon. Debbie loved racing and watching Tyson race motorcycles, her cell phone to stay connected with family and friends and her dogs Levi and Bella who were always by her side. Debbie loved life and was always joyous being around friends and family. If you were not laughing around Debbie, it was your own fault, she always loved having a good time. Debbie leaves behind her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved dogs, her Twin Brother Don Harrison and his wife Renee, her sister Carmen Troutman and her nephews, Jason, Coy and Seth Harrison. She has joined her Parents as well as her brother Jerry Lynn Harrison. A celebration of Debbie’s life will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021, at 2:00 pm with visitation between 1:00 and 2:00 pm at Anders Rice Funeral Home with the Reverend Nelson Ponder officiating. Honors will be provided by the North Caolina Nurses Honor Guard.
