Asheville - Deanna Lee Perry Weatherly, 57, went to be with Jesus Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center following an extended illness. A native of Hancock County, TN, she had resided in Buncombe County for the past 19 years. Deanna was the owner and operator of Tiny Treasures Child Care, and was a member of Oakley Freewill Baptist Church. She was the daughter of Roy Alvin Perry of Eidson, TN and the late Paralee Marie Gilliam Perry. In addition to her father, surviving are her husband of 36 years, David Weatherly, of the home; daughters: Karen Pressley and husband Terry Pressley, Jr. of Asheville, and Andrea Green and husband Cliff Green of Fletcher; grandchildren: Tyler Swann and Cole Pressley; brother, Glenn Perry of Churchill, TN; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Leonard Cutshall and Rev. Dr. Phil Dillingham officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery in Black Mountain. Pallbearers will be Tyler Swann, Charles Sutton, Daniel Sutton, Bobby Robinson, Bob Lollis, and Terry Pressley, Sr. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Friday at the funeral home.
