David Sams

Leicester William David Sams, 51, of 86 Green Acres Drive, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at his residence. David was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a son of the late William Sams and Dorothy Anders Sams. He was formerly employed as a Forman with New Dimensions Sealing Co. Surviving are his sister, Alice Marie Dockery & husband, Joel of Leicester; brother, Joseph Sams of Leicester; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Gospel Tabernacle, 16 Brickyard Road, Asheville with Rev. Jerry Hensley officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services at the church.
