David Randall Barnes

Candler David Randall Barnes, 58, of 301 Big Cove Rd., died Sunday, July 31, 2005 at his residence following a period of declining health. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mr. Barnes retired from Continental Teves (ITT) Automotive. He formerly was employed with Sears and American Enka Corp. He was the son of Margaret Trull Barnes of Candler and the late Herman Barnes. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his aunt, Opal Trull Barnes. Survivng in addition to his mother are his 2 sons, Kirk Randall Barnes and wife, Brandy of Candler and Kriston Ottis Weldon Barnes of Fayetteville,AR; 3 grandchildren, Ky-Lee, Brittany and Makenzie; aunt, Chetta Warjonen of Candler, uncle, J.B. Trull of Candler; companion, Delores Fisher of Morganton and a host of special friends including, Ray Woods and Christopher Messer. Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Moriah Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ben Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends following services at the church. Memorials may be made to: Mt.
