Asheville - David Lewis Ingle, 69, of 247 Richmond Hill Drive, died Friday October 3, 2003 at Memorial Mission Hospital following a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He retired in 1992 from Revco Scientific and was formerly employed with Southern Railroad. He was an U.S. Marine Corp Veteran serving in the Korean War, a member of VFW Post #3040 and attended Calvary Worship Center. He was a son of Dradon Gilbert Ingle, Sr. of Asheville and Lillian Maude Banks Jones of Asheville. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Trula Harwood Ingle of the home; sons, Danny Lewis Ingle of the home and Vincent Edward Ingle of Asheville; daughter, Vivian Louise Brown and husband, Billy of Asheville; sister, Marie McKinney of Candler; step mother, Virginia Ingle of Asheville; half sister, Brenda Hudson of Asheville; half brothers, Kenneth Allen Ingle of California and Malcolm Ingle of Asheville; three grandchildren. Graveside service will be held at 11:30 A.M. Monday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Ronald Dodson officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Buncombe County Veterans Council Memorial Team. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 A.M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
