David Christian Molter

Fletcher – David Christian Molter, 67, of 316 Lower Brush Creek Rd., passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. A native of Mecklenburg County and resident of Becky’s Rest Home in Fletcher for 32 years. Mr. Molter was the son of the late David Kephart Molter and June Corinne Smith Molter and was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. Surviving are his sister, Sharon Walton (Sammy), of Pahoa, HI, nephew, Jonathan Rogers of Pahoa, HI, great niece, LillyBelle, aunt, Hilda Lee, uncle and aunt, John and Caroline Molter, cousins, Andy Molter, Leslie Hubbard, Debbie Davis and Donna McKale, caregiver, Becky McIntosh (Marvin), a host of friends and fellow residents at Becky’s Rest Home. Funeral services will be held 2PM Monday, January 10, 2022 in the chapel of the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain with the Rev. Daryl Overton officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the NC National Guard Honor Team. Memorials may be made in his honor to Becky’s Rest Home, 316 Lower Brush Creek Rd., Fletcher, NC 28732.
