David Carroll Price

Asheville – David Carroll Price, 59, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at his home while surrounded by family.

A native of Staunton, VA, he resided in Buncombe County most of his life. He was a son of the late Carroll Price and Lou Jean Singleton Cole. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Billy Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Jennifer Kelsey Price; children: Ronnie Lee, Joshua David Jones, Angela Grooms (Eric), and Tabitha Jiggetts; step-children: Katherine and Richie Crigger, and Jessica Grant; 6 grandchildren; siblings: Johnny Scott and David Felkel, Steven Price and Tabetha Hampton, and Kristie Coffey and Ron; step-father, Sam Cole; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Davids life will be held from 2 till 4 PM Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in the event room at Anders-Rice Funeral Home. A private burial will take place at a later date at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.

David’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Carepartners Hospice for their exceptional care and support given to David and his family.
