David Benson

David Andrew Benson, 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 11, 2023.

I lost my brother, David Benson, but more importantly, my best friend. I love him more than I could ever put into words, and I am totally devastated. My life will never be the same without him. He was the kindest, most generous, caring man I’ve ever known. He would give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it. For those of you who knew him, you already know this. For those of you who didn’t know him, you really missed out on a wonderful person, the best of the best. RIP my broski. I will always love you more than you could possibly ever know. David was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Benson and Nancy Revis Devine Benson; and sister, Avonne Rogers.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Jackie Roberts (Steve), and many extended family and friends.

A graveside service at Acton United Methodist Church Cemetery will be announced, his longtime friend, Tim Warren, will officiate.
