Darlene Parham, 59, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the CarePartners Solace Center.
A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of Ruby Presnell Parham and the late Bill Ray Parham. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Walter Parham who passed away on July 17, 2018; and a brother, Clifford Eugene Parham.
Darlene worked for Turnamics as a machinist for over 32 years, and attended Community Chapel Church where she loved to serve the Lord. She will be greatly missed.
Surviving are her daughter, Kasey Lynn Buckner and husband Brandon Oneil Buckner; grandchildren: Bryson Oneil Buckner, Brooklyn Grace Buckner, and Kensley Paige Buckner; mother, Ruby Presnell Parham; sister, Amanda Parham (Cody Burgess); brother, William Ray Parham; nieces and nephews: Matthew Ray Parham, Jonathan Ray Parham, James Bodie Steppleton, and Andrew Chase Steppleton; many great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Beulah Baptist Church, with Pastor Dean Rice officiating. Burial will follow at the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 till 11 AM on Wednesday at the church.
