Daphne Robinson Gee

Asheville - Daphne Robinson Gee, 76, of 8 Patton Place died Thursday, June 8, 2004 at her residence. A native of Buncombe County, she was a member of Merrimon Ave. Baptist Church and was retired from K-Mart. Mrs. Gee was the daughter of the late Luther Gordon Robinson and Gertrude Coles Pittillo Robinson and was the wife of the late Albert Harold Gee who died in 1969. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Violet Sams and her brother, Roy Robinson. Surviving are her son, Walter Albert Gee and wife Cathie of Columbia, SC; daughter, Martha G. Burchfield of Asheville; grandchildren, Rebecca Elizabeth Burchfield and Aaron Benjamin Burchfield. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday in the Pittillo-Lanning Cemetery, Fruitland, with the Rev. Tim Lolley officiating.
