Danny Roger Buchanan

Danny Roger Buchanan, 59, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. A resident of Buncombe County for all of his life, he was a son of Doris Hamlin Buchanan of Hendersonville and the late Charles Eugene Buchanan. Danny was well know having owned and operated Xtreme Drywall Systems for the past 22 years. He was dedicated to his family and was a stubbornly hardworking man, having never missed a day of work. He will be missed by all who knew him. Surviving in addition to his mother are his mother of his children, Susan Hagan; children: Crystal Pressley and husband Joey of Swannanoa, and Austin Buchanan and Kiara Taylor of Asheville; grandchildren: Tyler Pressley, Zachary Buchanan, Trevor Sell, and Devon Rathbone; great-grandchildren: Thaiden Pressley, Freya Pressley, and Leonidas Pressley; sisters: Deidra Frady and husband Chris of Hendersonville, and Angela Buchanan Gantt; brothers: Calvin Buchanan of Hendersonville, and Johnathan Buchanan of Asheville; several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 6, 2022, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Tim Warren officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 till 2 PM at the funeral home.
