Daisy Brown

Candler – Daisy Eloise Dahle Brown, 96, of 50 Suddreth Lane, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A native of Athens, WI, she formerly managed restaurants and last served at Wal-Mart as a greeter, and was a member of Pole Creek Baptist Church. She was the wife of Billy Franklin Brown who died in 1984 and was also preceded in death by her sons, Harold and Ronald Brown and granddaughter, Susanna Brown. Surviving are her four children, Patricia Skidmore of Charleston, SC, Johnny Edward Brown and wife Linda of Ocala, FL, Margaret Suddreth and husband Jim of Candler and Barbara St. Germain and husband Gene of Candler; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Danny Rhinehart officiating. Burial will follow in Snow Hill UMC Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation, however, Mrs. Brown will lie-in-state at the funeral home from 10 AM to 5 PM Wednesday for those who wish to come by.
