Curtis O'Neal Hyatt

Asheville - Curtis ONeal Hyatt, 49, of 260 Clayton Avenue died unexpectedly Wednesday February 2, 2005. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was an avid fisherman. He was a son of Catherine Thelma Smith Hyatt of Candler and the late George Harold Hyatt, Sr. Surviving in addition to his mother are his brothers, George Harold Hyatt, Jr. and John Ralph Hyatt both of Asheville; sisters, Keeley Joan Ownbey of Candler and Tammy Minnette Taylor of Harriman, TN.; 6 nieces and 1 nephew. Memorial services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Gasperson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
