Cristi Davis

Black Mountain Cristi Hensley Davis, 46, of Black Mountain, died unexpectedly, Monday, January 30, 2017. A native of Buncombe County, Cristi was the mother of Caitlin Davis and Kelsey Davis and grandmother of Keplee Gregory and her brother, Hayden Gregory. Surviving in addition to her daughters are her parents, Terry Buckner Moseley (Kelvin) and David Hensley (Karen); siblings, Erin Sawyer Whitson (Ryan), Tyler Sawyer; step-brothers, Seth and Cullen Hensley; grandparents, Jim and Suzie Buckner; aunts, Beverly Buckner (Jerry) who was very special to her and Sandra Buckner, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other loved ones and friends who will cherish her memory forever. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Scott and Geneva Hensley. In this hour of sorrow, the family wishes to acknowledge our sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love, sympathy and prayers we have received from our many friends, church family and community. Services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, February 12, 2017 in the chapel of Trinity Baptist Church, 216 Shelburne Road, with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sexton, Jr. and Rev. Allen Rash officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Sunday at the church.
