Craig Wilde

Weaverville – Craig Crawford Wilde, 69, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 23, 2022, at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was an Automobile Salesman for most of his life, having served with Ken Wilson Ford for 15 years and in helping with others, he started in specializing with handicap vans through Mountain Adaptive and Helping Wheels. He was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Wilde was the son of the late Conley Brank Wilde and Delnora Lee Crawford Wilde and was also preceded in death by his brother, Stevie Wilde. Surviving are his wife, Roxanne Bowman Wilde of the home; son, William Wilde of Weaverville; daughters, Jessica Wilde Fulbright (Frank) of Barnardsville and Alicia Wilde Rathbone (Jerrod) of Weaverville; grandchildren, Abigail Fulbright, Dustin Fulbright, Conley Rathbone, Jena Rathbone and Logan Rathbone and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM Friday, May 27, 2022, in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Brother Petty Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Masonic Rites conducted by the Vance Masonic Lodge #293. The lodge will open at 9:30 am Friday. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 AM Friday prior to services at the funeral home.
