Conley C. Lunsford

Nebo Conley Curtis Lunsford, 89, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at Sunrise Rehab and Care Center in Nebo. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Lunsford was the son of the late Robert Jackson and Luella Massey Lunsford, and the husband of the late Irene Moss Lunsford. He was also preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. Surviving are his sons: Bobby Joe Lunsford and wife Sharon of Brevard, David Lunsford of Marion, Kenneth Curtis Lunsford of Arden and Wayne Theodore Lunsford of Brevard; daughters: Barbara Jean Lunsford of Leicester, Patricia Ann Rice of Taylorsville and Mary Katherine Towe and husband Jerry of Candler; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 2 PM Monday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home and Cremation Center. The family will receive friends following the services at the funeral home.
