Clyde Reese

Fairview Clyde Ray Reese, 87, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center. A native and life long resident of Buncombe County, he retired from Taylor Instrument Company, was a member of Arden Missionary Baptist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran during the Korean War. Mr. Reese was a son of the late James Craig Reese and Emaline Nancy Rice Reese. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Leota Metcalf Reese of the home; sisters, Adell Peninger of Belveder, IL and Geraldine Rockforte of Chetek, WI and brother, Hoy Reese of Candler. Funeral services will be held 2 PM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Benny Metcalf, Rev. Bobby Winebarger and Rev. Stephen Israel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM Thursday at the church.
