Clara "Sue" Garrison

Fairview - Clara Sue Jenkins Garrison, 65, of 951 Old Fort Road, went home to her Father, Wednesday, September, 13, 2006 taking her first steps in 14 years on streets of gold. Those gone on before to greet her included her parents, William Henry and Myrtle Chatham Jenkins, her husband, Ralph Red Garrison, her brother, Guy Jenkins and her daughter-in-law, Leona Susie Garrison. Mrs. Garrison was a native of Fairview, living in the same home all her life. She was a member of Spring Mountain Baptist Church and formerly Wilkey Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in many offices. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Yvonne Banks and husband Terry of the home and Lisa Flynn and husband Chris of Greer, SC and her son Raymond of Fairview. Her grandchildren, Tyler Garrison, Michael and Shawn Banks, Drew and Jessica Shelton, Blake Owens and Shania and Austin Flynn; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Grace Jenkins, Ray and Arlene Jenkins, Ralph and Patty Jenkins and Elizabeth Jenkins all of Fairview and many nieces, nephews and cousins including a special niece Janice Richardson. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Cane Creek Cemetery with Rev. Jeff Burchette and her son-in-law Rev. Terry Banks officiating. Music will be provided by Debi Burchette and her nephew, Jonathan Ray. Pallbearers will be nephews, Don Jenkins, Paul Jenkins, Tony Garrison, Andrew Morgan, Rodney Ray and Kevin Penland. Honorary pallbearers will be Arvin Jenkins, Richard Jenkins and Jimmy Richardson. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 P.M. Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
