Christine Vivian Hensley

Christine Vivian Hensley, 66, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2017, at the Madison Manor Health and Rehab Center. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Jerome Hensley and Mildred Lacy Maynard Hensley. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jeanette Lee Sexton. Ms. Hensley was a member of Asheville Free Will Baptist Church. Surviving are her niece, Melissa Wilson; great nieces: Madeleine Wilson, and Catrina Wilson; and a great-great niece, Kenna Crowder. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, June 25, 2017 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Troy Rogers officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 Noon Monday, June 26, 2017 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends following services on Sunday at the funeral home.
