Christian Ray

Christian Morley Ray, 53, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.

Born in Huntsville, Alabama, on July 28, 1969, he resided in NC for over 15 years. He was a member of Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Huntsville. He enjoyed being outdoors, hiking in the mountains of Western North Carolina, and animals.

Christian was a son of Judith Ann Rebmann Vann of Huntsville, AL and the late Harold Cotton Ray.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his brothers: Arthur Franklin Ray and wife Kelli, and Geoffrey Michael Ray; niece, Hanah-Mathis Wise Ray; and by many extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate Christian’s life will be held at 10 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, 208 Eustis Ave SE, Huntsville, AL 35801. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday immediately following the service.
