Christel Kupka Fisher

Barnardsville – Christel Marie Luise Kupka Fisher, 87, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Aston Park Health Care Center.

She was born in Germany and was of the Catholic faith. She loved being outside gardening, long walks, traveling, the Catholic Church, reading, and being with her family. She was a terrific baker and created the best care packages ever!

She was a daughter of the late Georg Kupka and Hedwig Kipka Kupka, and wife of the late Charles Henry Fisher. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kara Fisher.

Surviving are her children: Harold Fisher and wife Michelle, and Heidi Finn and husband Christopher; grandchildren: Ryland Fisher and wife Megan, and Chaney Fisher; great-grandchildren: Adeline Fisher, and Ashton Fisher; brothers: Georg Kupka, and Michael Kupka; sister, Barbl Pfyl; and by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A private interment service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
