Charles Christian “Chris” McMahan, 49, of 5 Eve Drive went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 8, 2023.
He was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and a son of the late David Gary McMahan and Karen Floreta Miller McMahan.
Surviving are his brother, Steven McMahan (Nancy Freeman) of the home; nieces, Macaleigh Sparks & Kaylee Christian McMahan; extended family and a host of friends.
Graveside services and burial will be held 2PM Saturday, January 14, 2023 at New Salem Cemetery in Skyland with the Rev. Cecil Jenkins officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30pm Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Homeward Bound of WNC, P.O. Box 1166, Asheville, NC 28802.
