Charlotte Cole

Hendersonville – Charlotte Rae Cole, 76, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and her books as she loved to read. A native of Anderson, SC, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Marcus Cole and Mary Elise Grant Cole and her special mother, the late Letty Roberts, that loved her and her sister like they were her own. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Ebb Harrison and brother, Jack Cole. Surviving are her children, Rand Swaringen, Jr., Laura Swaringen (Cynthia) and Kent Swaringen (Karen); 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Clara Alewine (Steele) and Jean Boyles; several nieces and nephews; longtime loving friend, Mike Bross and her special fur baby, BaBoo.
