Charles L. Dockery

Weaverville - Charles Lorain Dockery, 65 died Monday July 24, 2006 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center after a brief illness. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he retired from Asheville Bit and Steel Co. He was a son of Mary Elizabeth Bell Dockery of Weaverville and the late Romulus Lorain Dockery. Surviving in addition to his mother are his sisters, Nancy Harwood of Weaverville and Gwen Towe of Lilburn, GA; brother, Harry Phillip Dockery of Mars Hill and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with the Rev. Joe Dylan officiating. Memorials may be made to: Mountain Area Hospice, P.O.
