Charlene Webb

Asheville - Charlene Moss Webb, 89, died Friday May 27, 2011 at her home following a period of declining health. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late Charles Edmond and Leah Silver Moss and the wife of the late Cecil Webb. She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Wayne Webb. Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn Jean Webb Burns (Sam) of Asheville and Margo Elaine Webb Nelson of Black Mountain; sons, Larry Cecil Webb (Denise) of Dundee, MI and Ralph Edward Webb (Jean) of Gainesville, GA; adopted daughter, Ida Mae McMahan of Asheville; 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several other extended family members. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Ballew officiating. Burial will be in Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
