Cecil Cline Banks

Asheville - Cecil Cline Banks, 73, of 39 Busbee View Rd. died Thursday, April 29, 2004 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late L.I. and Anna Mae Pegg Banks. He was also preceded in death by his sons, Doyle and Danny Banks and his brothers, Woodrow, Neal and Thad Banks. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Reed Banks of Lebanon, TN; son, Dean Banks of Lebanon; daughter, Theresa Mitchell of Lebanon; sisters, Virginia Langston of Asheville and Jean Keyes of Etowah; brother, Carroll Banks of Asheville; granddaughters, Kim Banks and Jessica Thompson both of Lebanon; great grandson Isaac of Lebanon. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Wilson officiating. Burial will be in West Memorial Park, Weaverville. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home.
