Asheville Heaven's gain was our loss when God called our precious Cashton Isaac Townsend home on Tuesday, February 5, 2013. He was greeted in Heaven by his loving grandmother, Carol Hurte. Cashton is deeply loved by his parents, Rev. C.T. Townsend and Becky Hurte Townsend; Big brother, Tucker Townsend; maternal grandparents, Dr. Steve Hurte and wife Brenda Hurte and the late Carol Hurte; paternal grandparents, Rev. Kenny Townsend and Debbie Townsend; aunts and uncles, Rev. Brent Carr, Katie Hurte Carr, Rev. Bryan Townsend, Alicia Townsend, Jarrod Hodges, Mindy Hodges, C.J. (Kokomo) Townsend; a sweet cousin, Caroline Sissy Carr and numerous other family and friends. Celebration of Life services will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church in Asheville and at Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, SC on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2:30 PM, followed by a graveside service where Cashton will be laid to rest with his loving Nana, Mrs. Carol. And how you must have smiled when you heard Nana Carol sing. She was there waiting when Jesus brought you home, to hold you and to hug you, a grandchild of her own. Though here so very briefly, you leave a wondrous story, and God has used your little life to bring His kingdom glory. Your big Brother Tucker, he's a brave little guy, he'll be there for Mommy and Daddy, to hug them when they cry. Mommy and Daddy will miss you, their precious baby boy, but Heaven now is sweeter, for it holds another joy.
