Carolyn Radford

Asheville – Carolyn June Thorpe Radford, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Emerald Ridge Rehab and Care Center. A native of Madison County, she had resided in Buncombe County for most of her life and was the daughter of the late Carl Arbert Thorpe and Edith Norton Thorpe. She was also preceded in death by her husband Namon Riley Radford who died March 27, 1998. Surviving are her daughters, Ronda Castlewitz and Karen Soesbee (Jerry) all of Asheville. Private services will be held at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Emerald Ridge and CarePartners Hospice for the love and care given to our mom.
