Carolyn Banks Chandler

Carolyn Banks Chandler, 65, passed away at her home on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Mrs. Chandler was the daughter of the late Charles Thad and Mary Kate Tipton Banks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Tony Chandler. Mrs. Chandler worked for Drexel Heritage Furniture Company for 28 years and later retired from the Black Mountain Neurological Center after 15 years of service. She is survived by her daughters: Tammy Radford (James), and Stephanie Banks (Jerry); grandchildren: Haley Radford, and Gabe and Lilly Banks; brother, Kenneth Banks (Cathy); niece, Caitlyn Banks, and nephew, Lance Gurley. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with Rev. Preston Church officiating. Burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory.
