Carol Jackson Fore

Carol Jackson Fore, 68, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock. A native and lifelong resident of Buncombe she was a daughter of the late Dewey Jackson and Margaret Austin Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Sammy Jackson. Mrs. Fore was a member of Words of Life Tabernacle. Surviving are her children: Dana Stewart Dill and husband Danny, Cherish Stewart Gibson and husband Scott, Jackie D. Stewart, Jr. and wife Kimberly, and Mark Shane Stewart; sister, Joan Dorn (Bob); brother, Mickey Jackson (Norma); grandchildren: Sheena Fontaine, Shawna Dill, Logan Stewart, Hunter Gibson, Brayden Gibson, Caden Stewart, and Noah Stewart; great grandchildren: Talon Smith, Adelyn Drant, Londyn Fontaine, Raelynn Stevenson, and Britton Fontaine; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Averys Creek Christian Church Cemetery, 1327 Brevard Rd, Arden. The family would like to express a special Thank You to the staff of the Elizabeth House for their exceptional care given to Mrs. Fore.
