Carl Lee Taylor

Hendersonville– Carl Lee “Root Boy” Taylor, 61, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, at Harris Regional Hospital in Sylva. A native of Buncombe County, he worked at the Asheville Regional Airport and GE Lighting in Hendersonville. He was of the Pentecostal Faith. Carl loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and he will be greatly missed. Carl was a son of Ruby Anders Taylor of Murfreesboro, TN and the late Lorenzo “Lonnie” Taylor. Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Ramona Goodson Taylor; children: William Alex Taylor and wife Christy of Richmond, VA, McLaurin Liles Taylor of Boone, Eddie Orr and wife Natasha of Salem, SC, and Crystal Dendy of Tamassee, SC; grandchildren: Nalaysia Orr, Will Dendy, Amia Dendy, and another granddaughter on the way; sister, Brenda Kay Holt and husband Charles of Murfreesboro, TN; and lifelong friend, who was like a brother, David Kessler and wife Terri of Fairview. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Friday, November 6, 2020, at Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 till 1:30 PM on Friday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home.
