Callie L. Fox

Asheville - Callie L. Fox, 91, died Saturday April 5, 2003 at Brian Center. A life long resident of Buncombe County. She had retired from America Enka Corporation after 43 years of service and was a member of Elk Mountain Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late John Marion and Esther Ward Fox. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Ethel Marlow, Lucille Bowen Edwards, Berniece Clark, Faye Fox and Carrie Bonham; brothers, William Buck Fox, Perry Fox and Garland Fox. Surviving are her brother, John Wesley Fox of Asheville; special niece, Brenda Doan of Asheville and several other nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M Monday at Sluder Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Huggins officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home and at other times will be at the home of Brenda Doan, 220 Macedonia Road, Asheville.
