Bonnie Sue Shipman Cole

Asheville - Bonnie Sue Shipman Cole, 62, of 289 Waynesville Ave. died Tuesday, March 12, 2002 at Memorial Mission Hospital. Born in Henderson County, she had lived in Buncombe County for all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Jess R. and Thelma Franks Shipman. Surviving are her husband, Francis C. Cole of the home; sons, Robert C. Cole of Asheville and Francis Cole, Jr. of the home; sisters, Edna Littrell and Betty Jane Smith both of Asheville, and Judy Gregg of Leicester; brothers, Jesse Shipman of Black Mtn., Donnie Shipman of Hendersonville, and A.J. Shipman of Asheville; several nieces and nephews that she loved as her own. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Gregg officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 until 8:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
