Bonnie Hyatt Jarrett

October 7, 1912 — July 15, 2003

Candler - Bonnie Patricia Hyatt Jarrett, 90, of 95 Holcombe Cove Road died Tuesday, July 15, 2003 at the Pisgah Manor Nursing Home following a period of declining health. A native of Asheville. Mrs. Jarrett was former Owner & Operator of Wayside Market and a member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She was a daughter of the late James Raymond and Rosanna Moody Hyatt and the wife of Nesbitt Nathaniel Jarrett who died in January of 1995. Surviving are her son, Everett N. Jarrett, Sr. of Greensboro; daughters Patricia J. Burcham of Candler and Jessica Jean Jarrett of ST. Louis, Missouri; sister Carrie Mae Stevens of Alabama; brothers, Melvin Hyatt and Junior Hyatt both of Candler; grandchildren, David D. Bell of Greensboro, Ava J. Morgan of Leicester, Cynthia Karius of Aiken, S.C., Tony Jarrett of Greensboro and Everett Jarrett, Jr. of Greensboro; 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Edgewood Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Edgewood Baptist Church, 101 Moody Avenue, Candler, N.C. 28715. Mrs. Jarretts family would like to thank all their friends at Edgewood Baptist Church, Pisgah Manor Nursing Home and Pisgah Villa for their kindness, love and support. Anders-Rice Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
