Bonnie Faye Blankenship

Asheville - Bonnie Faye Price Blankenship, 77, of 1 Bucks Acres Drive went to be with the Lord Saturday March 22, 2008. Born in Marshall, she lived most of her life in Buncombe County. She was the daughter of the late Willard Price and Cora Price Brown. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Billy and Paul Price; sister, Sylvia Moore and former husband Avon Blankenship. Bonnie was an avid gardener, accomplished seamstress and bridal consultant. Her life was spent in dedication to helping others. The family extends special thanks to her church family at Bethel Baptist Church for love and support during her battle with cancer. Surviving are sons, Mike Blankenship of Asheville and Tony Blankenship and wife Carol of Melbourne, FL; daughter, Donna Ross Dupree and husband Rev. David Dupree of Columbia, SC; brothers, Gene, Walker and Jack Price; sisters, Alma Worley, Juanita Rhymer and Nancy Blankenship and close friend of the family Tom Williams. She was Grandmama to nine grandchildren and Great Grandmama to five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P. M. Monday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home with the Revs Mark Lewis and David Dupree officiating. Burial will be in Green Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 2:00 P.M.
