Billie Jean Bradley

Mars Hill – Billie Jean Burleson Bradley, 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at the Carepartners Hospice Solace Center.

A lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, she was a retired Beautician and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Mars Hill.

Mrs. Bradley was the daughter of the late Joseph Levi Burleson and Althea “Alfie” Thomas Burleson and was also preceded in death by her husband, Homer Bradley who died in December 2007, and sister, Mary Ann Austin.

Surviving are her children: Larry Bradley and wife Debbie, Tim Bradley and wife Becky, and Karen Bradley Sharpe and husband Rick; grandchildren: Krystal Bradley Morrow, Lisa Vest and Brian Sharpe; great grandchildren: Kiera Morrow, Kenneth Morrow, Justin Worley, Joshua Crowley and Austin Vest, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, 1343 Bailey St, Mars Hill, with Pastor Glenn Graves officiating. Burial will follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery, 451 Lewis Branch Rd, Big Laurel.

The family will receive friends from 3 till 4 PM Saturday at the church prior to funeral services.
