Billie Faye Baird Arrowood

Weaverville – Billie Faye Arrowood, age 74, of Weaverville, North Carolina passed away at home Thursday, May 18, 2023, in the presence of family.

She was originally from LaFollette, Tennessee before relocating to Michigan where she was a longtime resident of Wyandotte, Michigan. She worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield for over twenty years, then later retired to Jacksboro, Tennessee and eventually Weaverville, North Carolina to be closer to family.

She was a daughter of the late Fred Baird and Alice Garner Baird Harris. She was also preceded in death by her siblings: Clyde Baird and Betty Boshears.

Surviving are her Husband of 56 years Bobby Arrowood. Children: Debra McCoy and husband Chis McCoy of Weaverville, North Carolina, and Bobby Arrowood Jr. and wife Susan Arrowood of Battle Creek, Michigan. Grandchildren: Gaige McCoy and wife Hollie McCoy, Kalyn McCoy, Duane Arrowood, and Samuel Arrowood. Great-grandson; Jake McCoy. Sister; Wanda Kay Sobkowiak. Several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
