Bill Myers

Asheville Bill Lee Myers, 82, of 52 Lincoln Avenue passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010 at The Laurels of Summit Ridge. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County. He was formerly employed with Belks, was Owner-Operator of Bill Myers Fabrics and was a member of The Church of the Nazarene in Skyland. Mr. Myers was the son of the late W.W. and Rachael Hannah Stewart Myers. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Loraine Cramp who died February 20, 2006. Surviving are his sisters, Geraldine Myers and Shirley Ruth Myers both of the home; nephew, Michael Stewart Cramp and wife Mary Anne; great nieces, Emily and Sarah Cramp all of Burnsville. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday at Anders-Rice Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Worth Emory officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 10 to 11 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. The family wishes to express their appreciation to our special friends, Helen Wallin, Jacqueline Ray, Inna Stepanov, Judy Lunsford and Geneva & J.L. Heath who showed much love and care to Bill during his illness.
