Beulah King

Asheville Mary Beulah King, 88, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Fleshers Fairview Health Care Center. A native of Del Rio, TN, Mrs. King had resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was a member of the West Asheville Church of God. Mrs. King was the daughter of the late Harrison and Lula Gillespie Sexton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, A. Wayne King; and sister, Inez Beck. Surviving are her daughters: Jill Brewer and husband Don, and Kim Bancroft and husband John; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sisters: Linda Ashe, Pat Pafford, and Irene Crownover; brothers: Paul, David, James, and Johnny Sexton; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home, with the Rev. Rusty Smart officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 3:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
