Betty Ann Lister

Asheville Betty Ann King Lister, 86, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at the Stonecreek Health & Rehab Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was formerly employed with Brooks-Howell Nursing Home and the Grove Park Inn. She attended First Church of the Nazarene and Cornerstone Baptist Church. Mrs. Lister was a daughter of the late Ernest Cleveland King and Cora Mae Miller King and was also preceded in death by her six brothers, Ernest, Jim, Marion, Jerry, Bill and Fred King. Surviving are her sisters, Virginia Taylor and Barbara Ann Luther both of Asheville; brother, Bob King of Candler and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 23, 2015 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Willis officiating. A private burial will be held at Green Hills Cemetery.
