Becky B. Burgin

Fairview Rebecca Susann Becky Boone Burgin, 62, of 58 Church Road, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she was a 1970 graduate of T.C. Roberson High School and was formerly employed for 17 years with the National Linen Uniform Service. Mrs. Burgin was a daughter of the late Richard Lee and Lelia Evelyn Houck Boone and wife of Jack Augustus Burgin who died September 29, 2012. Surviving are her daughter, Amy Fite and husband Neal of Fairview; grandchildren, Harmony and Christopher; sister, Connie Swafford and husband David of Candler and brother, Michael Boone and wife Loretta of Spartanburg, SC. Memorial services will be held 2 P.M. Saturday, May 4, 2013 in the chapel of Anders-Rice Funeral Home with Bro. Stephen Colllins officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following services at the funeral home. Private burial will be held at a later date at Grandview Baptist Church Cemetery.
