Beatrice Rogers

Asheville Beatrice Barnes Rogers, 94, of 77 Blue Ridge Ave, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home. A native of Coffee County, TN, she had resided in Asheville most of her life and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Rogers was the daughter of the late Daniel Woodard Barnes and Maggie Ferguson Barnes and wife of Charles Clifton Rogers who died in January 1986. Surviving are her children, Larry Clifton Rogers (Carolyn) of Mableton, GA, Elaine Rogers Langley (Brian) of Smithfield and Dale Rogers (Barbara) of Asheville, with whom she made her home; grandchildren, Mitchell, Rhonda, Erica (Andy), Kimberly (Rudy), Colby (Jana), Jennifer (Adam) and Valerie (David); 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Mars Hill Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Walker officiating.
