Archie Cutshaw

Asheville - Archie Cutshaw, 66, of 75 Haywood St., Apt. 107 died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at his residence. He was a native of Buncombe County and he was a veteran of the US Marine Corp, serving during the Korean Conflict aboard the USS New Jersey. He was a member of VFW Post #3040. Mr. Cutshaw was the son of the late Fred and Eugenia Freshour Cutshall. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Fred Cutshall, Jr. and Ernest Cutshall. Surviving are his daughters, Patricia Hall of Orbisonia, PA, Dorothy Doyle of McConnellsburg, PA, and Alice Ahalt of Falling Waters, WV; sons, Robert Cutshaw of McConnellsburg, PA, and William Cutshaw of Mercersburg, PA; seven grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
