Annie Masters

Asheville Annie Mae Masters, 76, went home to be with her Lord Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Asheville Healthcare Center. A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, Mrs. Masters worked as a Supervisor with Kellwood Manufacturing. She loved her Lord and her family endlessly, and showed them the true meaning of unconditional love. Mrs. Masters was the daughter of the late Robert and Hilda Brown Keever. She was also preceded in death by her sisters: Ruby Miller and Mary Cosby; and brother, Raymond Keever. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Harold Buster Masters, whom she married July 26, 1958; sons: Garney Hembree and wife Sherry of Marion and Bruce Masters and wife Patricia of Swannanoa; daughters: JoAnn Rice and husband Bobby of Weaverville and Cindy Holcomb of Mosheim, TN; sister, Dorothy Roberts of Michigan; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. The family would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to the staff of Asheville Healthcare Center for the wonderful amount of love and care that Mrs. Masters received during her stay there.
