Anita Clampett Scott

Anita Clampett Scott, a native of Asheville, NC, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Autumn Care of Saluda at the age of 73.

Anita loved her community and regularly volunteered at the Rescue Mission and Manna Food Bank. She was also the first female driver for the Asheville City Transit system. Anita enjoyed attending services at Crossroads Church and cherished her family very much.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Scott, and her parents, John Clampett and Alice Johnson Clampett. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Lee Sprouse, and her siblings, Monte Clampett (Joyce), Sue Boone, and Bill Clampett (Carolyn) many nieces and nephews, and her cat Henry.

Services to honor Anita's life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anita's memory to Folds of Honor at Folds of Honor, Department #13 Tulsa, OK 74182.
